Is it glass as we commonly know it?
Yes, except that during manufacturing it is heated at extremely high temperatures, much higher than what normal glass is manufactured at. This alters the molecular structure of the molten solid and instead remaining as particles, it takes a web structure. Thus the name Nano Crystallised Glass.
Where can we use Crystallised Glass?
Anywhere. Indoors, facades, counter tops, walls claddings…..Abroad, it is used extensively on facades, showroom floors and vanity counters.
Is it translucent like Onyx, can light pass?
Yes, it is translucent but as much as Onyx. However, it lets light pass and one can use it well for back lit surfaces.
